The new A8 will hit the market next year, marking the German automaker’s latest autonomous driving and mild-hybrid technology as debut.

The brand’s flagship sedan is the latest fourth generation in a slew of new Audi models appearing over the past year including the new A4, A5, and Q5.

Audi gave the world last month a glimpse of the new A8 at the premiere of “Spider-man: Homecoming”, and this was the foremost time we have a clean look at the sedan’s new sheet metal.

The A8 offers an overall look that is stylish yet it falls in line with the new generation A4 and A5 models aesthetics that are on sale.

Under the hood, Audi offers the buyers a slew of options including two diesel, three gasoline and one plug-in hybrid power unit. However, it is unlikely the diesel engines making it to the US.

The gasoline options include a 340 horsepower, 3.0 liter turbocharged V6; 4.0 liter turbo V8; a 460 hp, and a 585 hp, 6.0 W12 – featuring a new mild-hybrid technology allowing the car to coast with the engine shut off.
