Ford revealed prices for its 2018 Mustang. It was earlier revealed that the optional 10 speed transmission made it the fastest Mustang ever and this has sent customers into delight. Now with the prices announced, the vehicle is very close to reaching dealers by fall.
The Mustang Ecoboost begins at $26,485. It has a six speed manual transmission; leather wrapped steering, 17 inch aluminium alloy wheels, one touch power windows, a limited slip differential, keyless access, push button start and a 4.2 inch dashboard display along with a backup camera. The EcoBoost Premium offers 18 inch rims, dual zone automatic climate control, LED foglights, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, an 8 inch touchscreen and leather seats with heating, ventilation and six way power adjustments.
It is priced at $31,500. Mustang GT reverts to cloth seats that are power adjustable, a V-8 engine, 18 inch rims, LED foglights and quad exhaust tips. It is priced at $35,995. The final entry is Mustang GT Premium. It provides an 8 inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, dual zone climate control, seats with heating and ventilation among other features. This vehicle will cost $39,995.
Certain features of the Premium models can be added to the base trims as well. Ford’s new automatic 10 speed transmission can be added to any version for $1,595. Performance packages add a Torsen limited slip rear differential, shorter axle ratios as well as19 inch wheels and summer tires. This can be added for $2,495 to the EcoBoost and for $3,995 for the GT.
