Holding a seat for too long can cause death, even though you exercise

Experts say that we should take a movement break every 30 minutes. Even though you exercise for long hours, it may not be enough because if you have a sedentary position throughout the day the risk of early death is a possibility. A direct relationship exists between times wearied out sitting for inordinately for a long period of time and your risk of early mortality situated on a study of nearly 8,000 adults. The more you sit, so does your risk of dying early.

American Heart Association uplifts all of us to “sit less and move more. “Keith Diaz, lead author of the new study and an associate research scientist in the Columbia University Department of Medicine said that this simplistic guideline is not enough. He also said that this signifies informing individuals to exercise without telling them how. He further explained exercise guidelines are exact. For example, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention endorses adults do adequate-severity aerobic exercise for two hours and 30 minutes every week, plus muscle building activities on two or more days a week.

Diaz said that we require similar guidelines for sitting. We can think about a more precise guideline that reads that for every 30 successive minutes of sitting, stand up and move or walk for five minutes at fast stride to lessen the health possibility from sitting. He also reiterated that as we grow old our physical and mental functions reduces. We end up becoming more sedentary.
