Nintendo announced some new games, ports, and DLC for the Nintendo Switch on Thursday Morning. The games that are coming to the Switch includes a new Mario Tennis title and ports of The Worlds Ends With You, updates to Odyssey, perhaps most unexpectedly, Dark Souls, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Payday 2.
The updates to The World Ends With You will allow you select from either touchscreen or traditional controls and it will also include a “sizeable new scenario.” The company has not revealed the specific release date, but the game will be available sometime this year.
Pokken Tournament DX will get updated with some new DLC characters and you can purchase the Deluxe Battle Pack paid DLC as it is now available and will be released in two waves. Wave 1, releasing on January 31 will introduce the new battle character Aegislash with the support set Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu. On March 23, the second Wave will bring the battle character Blastoise along with a support set of Mew and Celebi.
A demo for the Dragon Quest Builders Demo is now available on Nintendo Switch and it will be released by the end of this month.
A definitive Hyrule Warriors Ultimate Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch that will have all of the DLC content from both the 3DS and Wii U releases, containing every map, mission, and character.
Players will be able to continue Mario’s epic new world’s adventure after the end of Super Mario Odyssey with the help if Luigi.
Other games including Fe and Celeste, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Dark Souls Remastered, SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy, Payday 2, and Mario + Rabbids DLC are also getting major updates.
